At this session at Vloggercon 2006, I presented the video comments plugin which this video is using.. Check it out. (Warning, the video is long and big)
[00:00:06]Ryanne created some nice title graphics!
[00:00:15]Jonny, Jonny Jonny!
[00:12:16]Here I go… :-)
[00:19:46]The end of my presentation
[00:19:50]Guess I went 6.5 minutes instead of 4. Oh well..
[00:01:12]Andreas
[00:03:07]Markus Sandy
[00:07:43]Enric
[00:21:04]Josh Paul
[00:45:37]After I got called out on Bull Shit ;-)
[00:00:23]He’s got some skills!
[00:07:48]The website for vPIP;
http://utilities.cinegage.com/videos-playing-in-place/
[00:19:00]Now where can i get this plugin? Can it be run without this plugin?
[00:23:49]To much work for a comment.
[00:44:02]What would make me SMILE is combining this plugin with vPIP.
[00:18:02]”Officemate,” you rock! Go flavors!!!!
[00:18:07]Ahh.. Yes, my “officemate” = Dan Shiffman. A perfect use for this, filling in the blanks in my presentation. Dan Shiffman does amazing work, check it out: http://www.shiffman.net/ He is also the creator of the algorithm that extracts meaning from the conversation around media.
[00:19:05]Are you asking if the analysis can be run without the plugin? The answer is yes, as long as your blog has an RSS feed with comments and some media elements. Click on the “video comments” link down below and fill out the form that is offered when you download the plugin and we will start sucking your feed into the engine.
[00:42:10]Mike from Click.TV
[00:43:03]I completely agree!!
[00:43:53]Kent Bye
[00:44:05]That would make me smile as well … :-)
[00:48:25]Hey.. That’s our other research project
[00:48:54]The end..
[00:01:27]I am looking for ways this commenting technology can be used to train tradespeople in the important work of restoring historic buildings for the Katrina storm recovery in New Orleans.
[00:01:33]It’s clear that, for example, text descriptions of step-by-step procedures could be entered with comments, as the procedure is show. It would be very useful to be able to include photos and drawings in the text comments, that illustrate the video image as it streams by.
[00:01:38]Can links to webpages be included?
http://www.historichomeworks.com
[00:21:35]see this in action at:

[00:15:37]demoitis nice word
[00:16:31]oh im using it doh!!!
[00:48:33]yeahman tell me how to do it and I’ll vlog my life, just to see the comments
[00:17:31]you have your whole life
[00:01:42]hey, this video is so weird, seems a Sci Fi movie, so futuristic
[00:09:40]Enric talking to the screen
[00:13:51]Shawn V. A.
[00:00:34] It’s always good to have plenty of smart expert people on hand.
[00:00:40] This is nice! I like it.
[00:00:40] Is there a way to make this compatible with Internet Explorer so you don’t have to click the ActiveX box? That would make it better. Plus url’s in comments would be handy.
[00:00:25] It would be nice if the comments scrolled along with the video.
[00:00:24] what!?
[00:04:12] Why is he holding the mike away?
[00:00:05] this is a comment test to see where it ends up in the timeline
[00:00:59] test
[00:00:46] I’m testing this..
[00:48:57] I would love to have this for Movable Type.
[00:07:05] Interesting concept.
[00:00:35] fffffffd
